TIBCO Spotfire 12 is generally available!! There’s a TON of great stuff in here–let’s start with the two “headline” features that we think bend the #visualanalytics market.
First is TIBCO Spotfire Cloud Actions. This is a major move to use Spotfire not just to explore data, but to take ACTION in real-time. Click on the new Spotfire Action BOLT to send slack messages, tweet tweets, update databases, start business process flows, schedule a maintenance ticket, create alerts, or add notes to your CRM—ALL without leaving Spotfire! The second big move is TIBCO ModelOps is now part of Spotfire! Our approach to ModelOps is a breakthrough move. It lets Spotfire users infuse governed, trusted, pre-trained AI/ML models written in ANY language–Tensorflow, PMML, Python, or any cloud-based AI service to “put the algorithm behind the button.” We announced the TIBCO ModelOps Tuesday, and now, 2 days later, it’s part of the TIBCO Spotfire family — it’s your new OS for AI #osforai.
And that’s just the start. Spotfire 12 a ton of great #cloudnative support, #linux support, #autoscaling Spotfire services, a new cloud deployment kit with #helm chart recipes, simpler installation, #kubernetes support for #selfhealing, one-line upgrade, #openmetrics with #prometheus scrapers, #fluentbit side car containers for log forwarding #upgrade lock tools and upgrade #automation, #smartscaling.

identifymanagement with #openid, #oauth2 and #scim support, #java17 support, Oracle + Amazon Web Services (AWS) #RDS support. Improved TIBCO Streaming cloud support from on-premise Spotfire.
And the amazing work on visualizations continues! Since the introduction of TIBCO Spotfire #Mods there’s been an avalanche of community-developed Visualization Mods to plug into Spotfire. Dozens of new, innovative visualizations have been added by the community. Plus horizontal #visuallegends, APIs for #scripts in text areas, new data function support, including, of course, beautiful TIBCO ModelOps integration right in the user experience.
